Easy DG most of way, found little singletrack

Do you think these would be good loops for a BMW 1100 with 50/50 tires and not a lot of dirt experience?

Only unless you really plan your trip. This is a giant volcano center and most of the OHV 2-tracks are VERY SOFT pumice. There are some Forest Level III and county roads that are hard packed. I think these are shown blue on the CTUC Inyo map. Stay off the Green roads.

Yup - Some roads are fine for the big bike, some are super soft. I found that out last fall on my KTM 990, but it's always a good workout, and these same tracks change every year.
